01The makeup the template keeps
Three layers, matching the reference: a chalk-white base over the whole face, black paint smudged around both eyes from the brows to the cheekbones, and a red painted smile that runs from the corners of the mouth up into the cheeks like a scar. The paint looks worn and uneven rather than neat, as in the source. It is required: the template does not offer a version without it.
02What stays yours
Your face shape, nose, eyes, mouth, jaw, ears, facial hair and hairline come from your photo, and so do your haircut and hair colour. We chose to keep your own hair instead of the source's long green hair because, under that much paint, hair is one of the strongest signs that the Joker is you. The template asks the model to paint over your features, not to replace them with the source face.
03The costume that comes with it
A purple suit jacket, green waistcoat, blue-grey patterned shirt and dark tie, two stacked silver chains with a silver joker-card pendant, a silver chain bracelet, a watch and small stud earrings. These are fitted to your body in every frame. Your own clothes from the photo are not used.
04How it is made
Your photo is prepared, then used to create one corrected still of the street scene with you already painted and in costume. The video model then follows a line-drawing guide of the original clip for the hand signs and camera, the prepared photo and the still for appearance, and the original audio for timing. The final MP4 keeps the source soundtrack. You pay for the clip plus the photo and scene preparation, shown in one quote.
05When the balance is off
Two things can go wrong. If the face looks like the original performer rather than you, the identity did not carry through the paint; a sharper, front-facing photo with the hairline visible gives it more to work with. If the paint is missing or patchy, the costume did not carry; that is a failed result to regenerate, not a setting to change. We have not reviewed a generated result yet, so we cannot say how often either happens.
06Is this the Joker from the films?
The reference is an AI clip styled after the film version of the Joker; one commenter under the reel compares it to The Dark Knight. It is not footage from any film and does not use an actor's face, and neither does your result. This is an unofficial fan-style template, not affiliated with DC or Warner Bros.
