Car scenes are some of the most remade moments in AI video: two people side by side, nowhere to go, one of them talking. They are also easy to get wrong, because the camera sees the two people from very different angles. This guide uses the Brick by Brick template, a 14-second scene in the front seat of a beige vintage car, to show what each seat needs from your photos.
The camera looks in from the passenger side. The passenger is on the left, turned towards the driver and towards the lens; the driver is large in the right foreground, in three-quarter profile, hands on the wheel. Nearly all of the speaker's performance happens here.

Pick a photo where the face is sharp and roughly towards the camera, with even light. The passenger's hands are in shot for most of the close two-shot, so a photo that shows the arms or the top they will wear helps the outfit read correctly.
The driver is seen side-on, so a three-quarter or profile photo is a good choice and a straight-on selfie still works. Jackets, collars and hair matter more than usual here, because the driver's shoulder and the back of their head fill a large part of the frame.
Two people with the same haircut and dark tops can blur together where the driver's shoulder overlaps the passenger. Different hair, skin tone or clothing colours keep each person in their own seat through the cut.
The car, the street, the light, the camera positions and the cut are the template's and cannot be changed, and neither can the original audio, which contains strong swearing and a racial slur. If you want a different car, a different conversation or clean audio, this is not the right template.
Add a photo for each role shown below. All roles need a photo.
Upload a clear photo of the person who gives the speech. A sharp face with the whole head visible works best, because the speaker faces the camera for the whole close shot. Everyone pictured should have agreed to appear.
Upload the driver's photo; a side or three-quarter face works, since the driver is seen mostly in profile. Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p and review the quote, which covers the full video and both preparations.
