Dog and Owner Cake AI Video: Cast Both Seats

The Dog Cake Smash has two seats at one table and a 9-second story: a cake arrives, two spoons, a shared bite, then the smash. You fill both seats with your own photos. This page is about casting: who suits which seat, what each photo changes and what stays fixed.

Casting the two seats

01

The smasher, on the left

Stands upright to carry the cake in, sets it down, hands over a spoon and eats a spoonful, then looks at the camera, lifts the whole cake on its gold board, stands up tall and pushes it into the target's face. The seat suits the pet with the most attitude, or whoever in your house would actually do it.

02

The target, on the right

Sits at the table, takes the spoon, eats a big bite, turns to look at the smasher, looks up at the cake and takes it full in the face before falling back in the chair with arms and legs in the air. The face is visible for most of the clip, so a sharp, front-facing photo pays off here.

03

What each photo changes

The species, face, ears, coat or hair, markings, body and outfit of that seat. A cat stays a cat and a person stays a person. The reference labrador and the man are never kept: the template turns both into grey silhouettes, so both photos are required.

04

Swapping the classic roles

Nothing ties the smasher to an animal. Put yourself on the left and your dog on the right and the dog takes the cake in the face. Two pets, two people or a pet and a character also work; the actions stay with the seat, not the species.

05

The photos that work best

One subject per photo, face toward the camera, front paws or hands visible, in even light. The smasher holds a spoon and the cake board, so a photo that hides the paws leaves the AI guessing. Two subjects that look clearly different make a swap easy to spot.

06

What stays fixed

The grey stone table, the sheer white curtains, the navy chairs, the white cake with its red berry top, the fixed camera, the timing and the original song. The preview on the trend page is the original clip, not an Oakgen result.

    Cast the two seats

Upload a clear photo for the Smasher and the Target. The classic version puts your pet in the Smasher's seat and you in the Target's, but any pet, person or character works in either, as long as everyone agreed to appear.

    Review quality and price

Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p and review the quote. It includes the full video and both photo preparations.

  3. 03

    Check the smash

Watch that the two never swap faces, there is one cake and two spoons, and the cake lands on the target's face before the fall, then download your portrait MP4 with the original song.

01

Either seat, any character

The smasher and the target each come from their own photo. A dog stays a dog and a cat stays a cat, with its own face, coat and markings, sitting up at the table with a spoon in its paw. A person or a character can take either seat.

02

The sweet setup, then the smash

The cake arrives, a spoon is handed over, both take a bite side by side, then the smasher stands up, lifts the whole cake and pushes it into the target's face, who tips back in the chair.

03

The real table, the original song

The grey stone table, the white curtains and the fixed camera stay as they are, and the video keeps the original soundtrack, "Con la Misma Piedra" by Julio Iglesias.

The original as reference

The preview is the original clip the trend comes from. It is the motion and timing reference, not an Oakgen result.

Questions & answers

What is the Dog Cake Smash AI trend?

It is a 9-second portrait clip of a chocolate labrador and a man at a table with a white cake. The dog carries the cake in, hands the man a spoon and they both eat, then the dog stands up on its hind legs, lifts the cake and shoves it into the man's face, and he falls back in his chair. Oakgen's template puts your two characters in their seats and keeps the table, the timing and the song.

What is the song?

"Con la Misma Piedra" by Julio Iglesias, identified from the audio. Your video keeps that original soundtrack. Nobody on screen sings or talks; they only eat, stand and fall.

Do I need two photos?

Yes. The Smasher and the Target each need a photo. The template replaces both people in the reference with grey silhouettes, so neither the reference dog nor the man is kept in your video.

Can my pet be the target and me the smasher?

Yes. Either seat takes a pet, a person or a character. The smasher always stands up and smashes the cake and the target always takes it in the face and falls back, whatever is in each photo.

Does it work with a cat or another pet?

Yes. Each seat keeps the uploaded animal's species, coat and markings, sitting up at the table and holding the spoon and the cake board in its front paws. Small pets and bodies very different from a labrador's vary more, so review the stand-up and the smash before sharing.

Does the video show anyone getting hurt?

No. It is played as slapstick: the cake turns into white cream on the target's face and shirt and the target tips backwards into the chair, and the template asks for no injury to be shown.

Whose photos can I use?

Your own pets, yourself, or people who agreed to be in the video. Do not upload photos of celebrities, public figures or anyone who has not consented, and label AI videos clearly when you share them.

How long is the video?

About 9 seconds in portrait 9:16, one continuous take from the cake arriving to the fall.

Is the preview generated by Oakgen?

No. It is the original clip the trend comes from, used as the reference, not an Oakgen result. Review both faces and the smash before sharing.

How much does it cost?

1,247 credits per 720p video. The quote includes both photo preparations and the complete video. Check it before generating.
