Cat Cake Smash AI Video: Cats, Other Pets and People

The reference uses a large labrador, but the template is not limited to dogs. Each seat keeps the species of its photo. This page covers what to expect when the smasher or the target is a cat, a smaller pet, a person or a character.

Beyond the labrador

01

A cat as the smasher

A cat keeps its own face, ears, coat and tail, sits up at the table, holds the spoon in a front paw and stands on its hind legs to lift the cake. The template scales an animal up to fill its seat, so expect a very large cat next to the target.

02

Small pets and unusual bodies

Rabbits, hamsters, birds and other bodies very different from a labrador's vary the most, especially in the stand-up and the push. Expect to review the result closely and possibly re-run with a clearer photo.

03

Two people

Two people work in either seat: the smasher carries the cake in, sits, eats and stands up to push the cake with both hands. Use photos of people who agreed to appear, ideally with different hair or clothes so a swap is easy to see.

04

A character or cartoon

The template makes live-action video, so a drawn or animated character comes out as a realistic, live-action version of itself rather than as a drawing. We have not reviewed results for characters yet. Use an original character or one you have the right to use; do not upload celebrities or public figures.

05

Two pets

A dog and a cat, or two dogs, make a pet-versus-pet version. Pick two animals that look clearly different, so it is obvious in the result that neither face was swapped.

06

What to check with any cast

Paws stay paws and hands stay hands while holding the spoon and the cake board, there is one cake and two spoons, the cake lands on the target's face before the fall, and each face stays its own from start to end.

How to make it

Add a photo for each role shown below. All roles need a photo.

    Cast the two seats

Upload a clear photo for the Smasher and the Target. The classic version puts your pet in the Smasher's seat and you in the Target's, but any pet, person or character works in either, as long as everyone agreed to appear.

    Review quality and price

Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p and review the quote. It includes the full video and both photo preparations.

  3. 03

    Check the smash

Watch that the two never swap faces, there is one cake and two spoons, and the cake lands on the target's face before the fall, then download your portrait MP4 with the original song.

01

Either seat, any character

The smasher and the target each come from their own photo. A dog stays a dog and a cat stays a cat, with its own face, coat and markings, sitting up at the table with a spoon in its paw. A person or a character can take either seat.

02

The sweet setup, then the smash

The cake arrives, a spoon is handed over, both take a bite side by side, then the smasher stands up, lifts the whole cake and pushes it into the target's face, who tips back in the chair.

03

The real table, the original song

The grey stone table, the white curtains and the fixed camera stay as they are, and the video keeps the original soundtrack, "Con la Misma Piedra" by Julio Iglesias.

04

The original as reference

The preview is the original clip the trend comes from. It is the motion and timing reference, not an Oakgen result.

Questions & answers

What is the Dog Cake Smash AI trend?

It is a 9-second portrait clip of a chocolate labrador and a man at a table with a white cake. The dog carries the cake in, hands the man a spoon and they both eat, then the dog stands up on its hind legs, lifts the cake and shoves it into the man's face, and he falls back in his chair. Oakgen's template puts your two characters in their seats and keeps the table, the timing and the song.

What is the song?

"Con la Misma Piedra" by Julio Iglesias, identified from the audio. Your video keeps that original soundtrack. Nobody on screen sings or talks; they only eat, stand and fall.

Do I need two photos?

Yes. The Smasher and the Target each need a photo. The template replaces both people in the reference with grey silhouettes, so neither the reference dog nor the man is kept in your video.

Can my pet be the target and me the smasher?

Yes. Either seat takes a pet, a person or a character. The smasher always stands up and smashes the cake and the target always takes it in the face and falls back, whatever is in each photo.

Does it work with a cat or another pet?

Yes. Each seat keeps the uploaded animal's species, coat and markings, sitting up at the table and holding the spoon and the cake board in its front paws. Small pets and bodies very different from a labrador's vary more, so review the stand-up and the smash before sharing.

Does the video show anyone getting hurt?

No. It is played as slapstick: the cake turns into white cream on the target's face and shirt and the target tips backwards into the chair, and the template asks for no injury to be shown.

Whose photos can I use?

Your own pets, yourself, or people who agreed to be in the video. Do not upload photos of celebrities, public figures or anyone who has not consented, and label AI videos clearly when you share them.

How long is the video?

About 9 seconds in portrait 9:16, one continuous take from the cake arriving to the fall.

Is the preview generated by Oakgen?

No. It is the original clip the trend comes from, used as the reference, not an Oakgen result. Review both faces and the smash before sharing.

How much does it cost?

1,247 credits per 720p video. The quote includes both photo preparations and the complete video. Check it before generating.
