The Alors on danse AI trend recreates a two-person scene in a white studio: one performer plays a small keyboard while the other dances beside them. In Oakgen, you add two photos and the template follows the reference routine, camera passes and audio.
Where the scene comes from
According to Kapwing's guide, the clip comes from Made in Jamel, a 2010 collection of scripted sketches. It features the Belgian musician Stromae and the French comedian Jamel Debbouze performing “Alors on danse” in a white studio. Stromae plays a keyboard while Jamel dances, gestures and hypes him up.
The AI version keeps that setup and swaps in other pairs. Creators use two reference photos to replace the performers with friends, couples or colleagues, and the remakes keep the original choreography, camera movement and studio.
Three things people call “Alors on danse”
Search results mix several formats, so check which one you want:
- The keyboard sketch and its AI remakes: the two-person white-studio scene this template recreates.
- The 2021 TikTok dance: according to Know Your Meme, a slowed-down version of the song became popular that year with dancers in unison. That is a different format.
- The song itself: Stromae's “Alors on danse” is the track both of the formats above are named after. Our template does not create a new cover or clone anyone's voice, and it is not a Papaoutai trend either.
What the Oakgen template recreates
Oakgen's Alors on danse template follows a 51-second square routine, including close passes and a wide ending. It needs two photos, one for the keyboard performer and one for the dance partner. Both are required. The finished video keeps the reference audio.
The preview on the page is the original social-media reference, credited there, not an Oakgen result. Hands, keyboard playing and identity can vary as the performers move and overlap, so watch the full result before posting.
Pick the pair before the photos
The scene works because the roles contrast: one person is playing it straight and the other is making it a party. Decide who is who first.
- Friends: the one who plans and the one who turns up for the fun.
- Colleagues: the person with the spreadsheet and the person with the energy.
- Couples: the one who read the instructions and the one who did not.
Use photos of people who have agreed to appear, with clear faces and even lighting. For role-matching advice see how to assign two photos without mixing up roles. For caption and story ideas, read duo story ideas beyond the keyboard meme. If you post to a vertical feed, the vertical crop guide explains how to keep both people visible in a square clip.
Post it clearly
Label the clip as an AI recreation. Do not imply that Stromae or Jamel Debbouze took part, and do not present a real person in a situation they did not agree to. Oakgen is not affiliated with either of them.
