Five of Oakgen's video trends are built around sport and stunts in front of a crowd: the Wall Run, three basketball dunks and a football kick that goes wrong. They look alike in a gallery, but they ask for different photos, give your photo different control and tell very different stories. This guide puts them side by side so you can pick the one that fits the people you have and the post you want to make. All five are portrait 9:16, so the choice is about cast, sound and story, not format.
Start with the Wall Run
One photo, a giant curved dam, a flip and a splash landing in front of a roaring crowd. Review your credit quote before you generate.
The five at a glance
| Trend | Photos | Who you cast | Length | Sound | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wall Run | 1, required | The runner | 15 s | Original audio, no song | A sprint up a curved dam, a flip off the top, a splash landing and a celebration |
| Forever Dunk | 1, required | The player | About 20 s | The "Forever" hook | Someone in everyday clothes takes over a pro game, dunks and screams at the crowd |
| Poster Dunk | 1 or 2 | Dunker, defender or both | About 12 s | Reference sound, no named track | One slow-motion dunk over a defender and the landing beneath the basket |
| 1v1 Dunk | 2 required, plus an optional court | Attacker and defender, optionally the location | 15 s | Original music and crowd sound, no named track | A crossover, a drive, two dunks and a taunt to the camera |
| Beer Spill Kick | 3, required | Striker, fan in black, fan in the suit | About 12 s | Original outdoor and crowd sound, no clear words | A shot over the goal lands in the stand, beer spills and one fan folds over |
Lengths are those listed on each trend page. Prices are not in this table on purpose: each page shows its own credit quote for the resolution and roles you pick.
Choose by how many people you have
Just you. Wall Run and Forever Dunk each have one role and need one photo. Everyone else on screen, the guards and grandstand at the dam or the pro players, referees and fans in the arena, stays in the background.
You, plus maybe one more. Poster Dunk is the flexible one. Cast the dunker, the defender or both; a role you leave empty keeps its reference look. Poster Dunk: one role or two? helps you decide.
Two of you. 1v1 Dunk needs both the attacker and the defender, so it is built for a pair. It also has an optional third slot for a location photo: add one to move the game, or leave it empty to keep the floodlit outdoor night court.
Three of you. Beer Spill Kick needs a photo for the striker, the fan in black and the fan in the suit. It is the only one of the five that casts a group.
Choose by what your photo controls
This is the biggest practical difference, and it decides which photo you should use.
- Wall Run takes your face, hair and build, but not your clothes. The black ribbed tank top, silver chain, black track pants with white piping and white sneakers are the look of the trend, so you wear them whatever your photo shows. A hoodie selfie works.
- Forever Dunk takes your face, hair and outfit. The joke is an ordinary person running a pro game, so jeans and a jumper stay jeans and a jumper. Pick the outfit you want to be seen in.
- Poster Dunk takes the face, hair, outfit and even the species from each photo, so a human or an animal can take either role.
- 1v1 Dunk and Beer Spill Kick give each person the face, hair and outfit from their own photo. Pick visibly different people so the roles stay easy to tell apart.
If you want to appear in your own clothes, skip the Wall Run. If you do not care what you wear in your photo, it is the most forgiving.
Choose by sound
Only one of the five has a verified song title. Forever Dunk keeps the hook of "Forever" by Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem; the rise and the dunk happen while the hook repeats "forever". The lyrics contain strong language, which matters if your audience is young or you post somewhere strict.
The other four keep their reference clip's own sound. The Wall Run has footsteps, a splash on the landing, a crowd roar and the runner's scream, with no music and no speech. Beer Spill Kick has outdoor and crowd noise with no clear words. 1v1 Dunk keeps its music and crowd sound, and Poster Dunk its reference audio, but neither source names a track, so we do not either.
Choose by the story
The impossible stunt. The Wall Run is the only one where the action could not happen at all: a sprint up a near-vertical wet dam face, a flip above the railing and a feet-first landing on the same wall. It belongs to a wave of AI stunt-running clips that fact-checkers have flagged when posted as real, so it suits captions that lean into the absurdity and say it is AI. The real parkour wall run vs the AI trend explains exactly where it leaves reality.
Crashing the big stage. Forever Dunk is the underdog fantasy: you in your own clothes, catching the ball near centre court, dribbling the length of the floor past a referee, dunking one-handed and roaring at the crowd. It works for "me when..." captions about a small win.
The duel. Poster Dunk is one contested moment in slow motion: the leap, the rim and the landing. It suits a rivalry between two people or two characters.
The full possession. 1v1 Dunk is a longer back-and-forth between two players: crossover, drive, first dunk, a taunt to the camera, then a slow-motion flying dunk over the defender. The court slot makes it the only one where you choose the place.
The comedy of failure. Beer Spill Kick is the opposite of a highlight: a wild shot sails over the goal into the stand, a beer splashes, a fan kicks the ball away and spills his own, then clutches his forehead and doubles over. Nobody is hurt; it is slapstick for three friends.
What all five share
- Portrait 9:16, one fixed scene. The camera, the action and the timing come from the reference clip. Your choices are the photos and the output resolution.
- A credited AI reference, not an Oakgen result. Each trend page previews the AI clip it is based on, credited to its creator. Treat the preview as the target, not a measure of what your photos will give.
- Real people's likenesses are always replaced. The Wall Run, Forever Dunk and Beer Spill Kick references show AI likenesses of real people, so those roles always need your photos.
- Photos of people who agreed. Use your own photo or photos of people who agreed to appear, never celebrities or public figures, and label your post as AI.
- The quote comes first. Each page shows its credit quote for your selection before anything is generated.
